Three Birds Renovations - April 2018

It’s been all systems go here at the Coastal Drift headquarters… as we’re bursting at the seams with excitement and anticipation as one of our collaboration projects comes to fruition.

It’s been in the works for some time, but in May, Three Birds Renovations will feature our ever popular furniture and homewares as part of their House 8 series - Bonnie's Dream Home. Our pieces are included in episodes three, four and five - as the different episodes will feature different areas within this renovation project, which is one of the largest I’ve ever seen!

The Three Birds Renovations ladies have described this next project, House 8, as “epic!”. It’s also the dream home of one of the fabulous ladies, Bonnie, so not only is it a house of magnificent scale and design, it’s built with tonnes of emotion and love as Bonnie creates a place for her family to call home for the next stage of their lives.

We've aways known Bonnie has been a die-hard fan of Malawi Traditonal chairs, using them in a few of the earlier series'. But with her brief for her own home #moderncoastalbarn being very close to our own style; we couldn't think of a more suitable home that will utitlise the 3 of the 4 different ranges from #malawicane_au offering a relaxed yet classic feel to functional areas of her house.

So, without giving away too much, I can reveal it's on a five acre block... and is one of the largest home renos the girls have tackled! It has spectacular cathedral ceilings and a relaxed coastal and country feel - the perfect environment for Coastal Drift pieces.

It’s no secret that I admire their approach and I have always followed Three Birds Renovations... plus I can relate and connect to them as a brand. So when it was confirmed the collaboration would go ahead, to say I was thrilled was an understatement!
